Storage & Packing Tips: Before Moving Out Don't Forget:
Label all boxes clearly, make a list of what you intend to store, especially larger or unusual shaped items.
Calculate the value of what you have to store and arrange insurance cover.
Let everyone know that you're changing address.
Telephone the gas and electric companies to give them your final meter readings.
• Label boxes on all sides.
• Make a list of the contents.
• Pack items that you will be frequently accessing towards the front - common sense, we know.
• Use bubble wrap, styrofoam chips and plain newsprint to protect breakable items.
• Mark 'Fragile' on boxes where needed.
• Label each box with a different colored sticker to identify each room.
